Hamilton Child Care Centre | Play to Learn
Our programme planning
The foundations of our programme is based on Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s Early Childhood Curriculum.
This curriculum is about the aspirations for children to grow up as competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society.
We believe children learn from doing things that they enjoy. Our programme planning evolves from children’s strengths and interests, which teachers notice, recognise and respond to by providing challenging and thought provoking experiences
