May has come round fast and we have enjoyed a delicious pink ribbon breakfast complete with pink pancakes, cinnamon muffins and hot chocolate. Thanks to all the wonderful parents who attended with their children, it was a lovely occasion, all to raise funds for breast cancer. It has been a busy month at Play to Learn Learning Centre, Steph (our Teamleader) has been away with a netball injury and we wish her a speedy recovery. We welcome our new team member, Emma who is job sharing with Michelle while she is completing her Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood. We also welcome all our new children who have started attending our Centre. We have had a visit from the Education Review Office and have received some very positive feedback regarding the high quality care children receive at Play to Learn.

Trans4mers have been working on their self-help skills and are focusing on ‘a healthy me’. We are looking forward to having the dental health nurse come and share some information as well as a few more health practitioners who will inspire our tamariki to eat healthy and keep strong.
