Welcome to 2016!
We have started this year with a bang, with Two New Teachers at our Childcare Centre. Welcome Grace and Susie! We look forward to learning more about them as well as learning from them. Also welcome to Juanita our new manager who started in late 2015.
This month we have rearranged our Kiwi Room to reflect the Holistic Dimensions of our programme planning. We will continue to enhance our room as the year progresses; soon we will have a special mat time area with specific resources for mat times. There are lots more exciting things planned.
January has been a month of celebration for some; a number of our children have celebrated their birthdays as well as one of our teachers.

All of the Play to Learn teachers have undergone professional development regarding Storypark. We look forward to uploading more learning stories, photos and videos onto story park for your viewing pleasure.
We will be welcoming a number of new children staring this month and next.
The summer sunshine has allowed us to enjoy trough water play and sprinkler fun. We were also excited to discover this month that our peach tree has a little fuzzy green peaches and our lemon tree has tiny lemons. We look forward to picking this fruit when it matures.
At the beginning of February we will be teaching the children about the Treaty of Waitangi. Keep an eye out on story park for more information.
